CHMER A6040L

The A6040L is a 3-axis linear motor drive CNC Sinker EDM. This EDM utilizes CHMER-built plate type linear motors and Panasonic drivers. Fagor glass scales provide total closed loop precision.

The linear motor Z-axis is air balanced to allow for electrodes up to 50kg (110 lbs.). This compact Gantry design allows for large workpieces up to 1500kg (3,300 lbs.). Optional 3R or EROWA C-Axis, plus 4 or 8-position shuttle type auto electrode changers are available. Hard metal circuit for carbide is optional as well as an automatic drop door for robot loading. Power Supply from 50 up to 300 amps is available. No charge on-site setup and training are included.
