The CHMER CNC Drillers offer both EDM drilling as well as optional 3D shape machining capabilities. The drillers are available in 3, 4, 5 and 6-axes configurations and some models are submergible in water for faster cutting. Automatic electrode changers and guide changers are available on most models.

The optional 3D shape machining can be used to burn larger holes using the same electrode with an orbit motion, or for burning 3D shapes in jet engine blades and vanes. Robot loading is optional. (See Fastener Driller Automation - Lock Wire Holes video.)

The SD drillers are strictly EDM small hole drillers with larger travels up to 3500 x 1500 mm. Electrode and guide changers are standard features utilizing an air chuck. Standard power supplies are 60 amps with an optional 100 amps available for larger diameter electrodes - 5 mm and larger. Tilt ram and built-in B-axis is also available plus optional B and AB indexers for all models.

ZNC models are also available for simple EDM drilling.
